Northwestern Wins Big in Rice Business Plan Competition

SiNode and BriteSeed, teams founded in Northwestern's NUvention courses, took first and second place at the competition, walking away with more than $1 million combined in cash and investments.

A Northwestern-Shedd Aquarium partnership facilitated by adjunct faculty Bob Shaw (McC70) and his wife, Charlene (WCAS70), spawned ingenious footwear for penguins.
